Fiber Angle Measuring System
Based on the experience gained from some projects in fiber composite technology, we have developed a
measuring system for the determination of the fiber angle.
The essential properties are:

ndependence from the color and the reflective behavior of the test specimen:
When changing e.g. Carbon to glass fiber, the system takes less than a second to adapt
automatically to the different conditions.
Equally suitable for mono or bifilar structures:
The system was successfully tested with woven structures of varying mesh width and strength
Distorted contours do not influence the measurement:
Sewing threads for structural stabilization (indifferent in which color) or already applied adhesive or
wetting agents have no influence on the measurement result.
The process is so stable that we can measure not only textile fabrics but any kind of structured material
